Onderhoudsvriendelijke border in een particuliere tuin

Bij een onderhoudsvriendelijke tuin hoort een onderhoudsvriendelijke border. De hovenier heeft in deze tuin samen met zijn klant gekozen voor de Covergreen® Vinca minor plantenmatten. Het betreft in deze situatie een renovatie van een bestaande border, de oude beplanting is gerooid en de ondergrond vrij van onkruid gemaakt. Voorafgaand aan het leggen van de bodembedekkers is de ondergrond geëgaliseerd en is er DCM mix 2 meststof vermengt in de bovenste laag van de border. Deze meststof zorgt ervoor dat de wortels van de Covergreen® Vinca minor plantenmat sneller en beter wortelen. Een alternatief voor mix 2 is Pokon siertuinmest.

Het resultaat is een onderhoudsvriendelijke border die direct een volgroeid en groen beeld geeft. En het belangrijkste: de eigenaar is vanaf nu stukken minder tijd kwijt aan het onderhoud van deze tuin!
