Covergreen exists for over 10 years! A decade of learning and experiences, on which we look back with pride.
It all started with a financial bank in Utrecht (Holland). This heavily protected and luxurious building was in need of a matching green, maintenance free garden. With that, the idea of Covergreen® was born. Our first try out was a success, with a green and fully grown plant mat as a result. Since then, these ready-to-use ground covers have been produced and delivered by Covergreen®. It offers an instant green result and weeds hardly get a chance to grow, which leads to substantial savings on budget and maintenance.
We started out in The Netherlands. In no time communities noticed the benefits of our ready-to-use plant mats. This gave us the opportunity to make a big step forward, and gave us the courage to expand over the Dutch borders. We had ánd have a huge trust in our product. In 2017 we moved to our new office and made the decision to fully focus on Covergreen®. A big moment we have never regret.
The result? A huge growth both at home and abroad. At present we work with 4 nurseries and 2 employees per location. You will find 9 different species of ready-to-use ground covers in our assortment, with the possibility of custom made plant mats. Covergreen® is present at several international fairs. We keep on innovating technically; national and international. For example, we installed a fully automatic robot and we offer a daily service in several languages. We started out with 1 cultivation a year, but it has extended to 3 rounds a year: something unique in greenhouse growing.
Not only do we offer a unique product, it is also beautiful ánd good! Our ready to use plant mats are being used by architects, landscapers and communities, from public green to maintenance friendly gardens.
The future? We do not stop. Off course we want to expand further at home and abroad. But, whatever we will do, our plant mats quality and our team are crucial. We have a Dutch name and quality to uphold, and we are proud if that. We will continue to do what we do best: growing beautiful, green ready-to-use plant mats. With that we will offer you a maintenance friendly and instant green result.
