The city of Breda (Holland) was looking for a unique green styling in the town’s centre. With flexibility in performance. The results? A beautiful project called “the greenest leasing tube”, a cooperation between Zoontjes Tree Projects and Grijsen Park & Streetdesign. This green tree tube was combined with Covergreens ground covers.

The first leasing tree tube has been presented March this year. This ‘greenest leasing tube’ is a concept of Zoontjens Tree Projects and Grijsen Park and Streetdesign. These tubes are tailor made by Grijsen and filled by Zoontjes, with substrate, plants, isolation and off course maintenance. Arjan Zoontjens tells us about the possibilities: “With our Tree tube we are offering the possibility to design every tube apart. Therefor they can vary in shape and material, but you can also adjust your tubes temporarily for an event or theme. This results in 1 style for the towns centre, with the possibility of personal adjustments.”

Alderman
This first Breda Tree Tube contains a Prunus ’Royal Burgundy’. Alderman Adank installed the ready to use plant mats (Vinca) of Covergreen.
