Has a purple blue flowering from about June to October (cutting dead stems can extend the blooming period). The Nepeta ground cover can grow up to 50 cm. This plant mat prefers a sunny spot. The Covergreen® Nepeta can be cut (at your request or on our advice ) to stimulate new shoots.
Easy to prune
The Covergreen® Nepeta faassenii ‘Walker’s Low’ shoud preferably be trimmed back in spring. Pruning after flowering immediately will keep the plant compact and encourages a second bloom. Although The Nepeta may bloom like lavender blue, it doesn’t get ‘woody’, but stays herbaceous. Therefor you do not have to worry about the right pruning point/height, and it is possible to prune with a machine.
